By using ReadyUtilities.com or any site in the Ready Utilities network, you agree to these terms. They are short and written in plain language.
The agreement
These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Ready Utilities ("we," "us") covering ReadyUtilities.com and the individual tool sites listed on the hub page. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the sites.
Using the tools
The tools are free for personal and commercial use. You may use them as often as you like. You may not copy, scrape, or republish the tool code or page content, attempt to interfere with how the sites run, use automated means to flood the sites with requests, or use the contact form to send spam or abusive messages.
Accuracy and no professional advice
We work to keep formulas, conversion factors, and explanations correct, and each tool page describes the method it uses. Even so, the tools are provided for general information and convenience only. Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and the assumptions stated on the page.
Nothing on these sites is financial, legal, tax, medical, nutritional, or engineering advice. Before making a decision that matters, verify the result independently or talk to a qualified professional.
No warranty
The sites and tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We may change, pause, or remove any tool at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ready Utilities and its founder are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the sites or tools, including losses based on a result a tool produced. Your sole remedy is to stop using the sites.
Intellectual property
The design, text, code, and branding of the sites belong to Ready Utilities unless otherwise noted. Results you generate with a tool (for example an invoice you create or a password you generate) are yours to use. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned on the sites belong to their respective owners.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
The sites are supported by advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense, and may include affiliate links. If you buy something through an affiliate link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Pages containing affiliate links say so. Tool pages may link to other websites for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
No outside submissions
Ready Utilities builds and maintains all of its tools in-house. We do not accept tool submissions, guest posts, or paid link placements, and unsolicited submissions will not be published or returned.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version is posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Ready Utilities operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
