About

Built by one developer,
for anyone who needs a quick answer.

Ready Utilities is a collection of 26 free, browser-based tools, each on its own domain, all made in the same workshop.

What Ready Utilities is

Ready Utilities is the hub for a network of small, single-purpose websites. Each one does a specific job: figure out a loan payment, scale a spice blend, convert a unit, check a moon phase, generate a password. You land on the site, use the tool, and leave with your answer. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

The hub page exists so you can find the right tool quickly. Every site in the network is listed there by category, with a short description of what it does.

Why the tools are free

The sites are supported by advertising through Google AdSense, which is what keeps them free to use. Ads are placed so they stay out of the way of the tool itself. You can read how advertising and cookies work on these sites in the Privacy Policy.

Some sites may also include affiliate links. When that is the case, it is disclosed on the page, and it never changes how a tool works or what it shows you.

How the tools are built

Every tool is written as a standalone web page using plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Calculations run in your browser, so the numbers you type in are not sent to a server to get a result. The pages are kept lightweight on purpose so they load fast on a phone with a weak signal.

Formulas and conversion factors are checked against standard references before a tool goes live, and each tool page explains the method it uses so you can see where the answer comes from. If you ever spot something that looks off, the contact page goes straight to the developer.

Independently operated

Ready Utilities designs, builds, and maintains every site in the network in-house. Outside tool submissions, guest posts, and link placements are not accepted. New tools are added when there is a real, recurring need for them, not to fill out a catalog.

Who is behind it

Ready Utilities was founded by Cedrick Reese, a retired veteran and web developer. His background in affiliate marketing and niche site development goes back to the early 2000s, and the tool network grew out of that work: a preference for small, useful things that do one job well. You can read more about him in the bio below.
